The above is the title of a one hundred page promotional booklet published by
the
Newcastle and Gateshead Chamber of Commerce
in about 1908
The booklet contains some interesting photographs, and quite a few maps
of
the towns on both the North and South banks of the Tyne.
As I say, the book is quite old and is showing signs of its age.
One or two of
the pages have become detached from the binding and are a bit discoloured.
My original intention was to scan a few of the pages and show them here,
but because of the interest shown, I have copied the complete book.
