Grainger Town is the historic heart of Newcastle and is based around the classical streets built by Richard Grainger in the 1830's and 1840's
Since 1997, Newcastle City Council in partnership with English Partnership and English Heritage, have made great strides into regenerating and breathing new life into the area.
